Got to the show not knowing if chronic was even going to be there, it had seemed to be cancelled, and then rescheduled, but no listings of it were anywhere. So I walked in when doors opened and sat around waiting. Some guys from the exchanges started talking to me they were nice guys. Then when the start time came near someone told me I had to leave and wait 'in line'. So I'm the only one outside lined up for the show.

It takes forever but chronic future shows up and I see the guys going into the building but I'm too shy to do more than smile and give them a nod. Later they open the doors, and so the huge payment process begins... 1 person... and.. done. So I go in and sit by a table near where some of the cf guys are talking to other people. I do nothing.

Later 2nd band is cf, there are other people in the bar now, maybe 20 or so; but for cf's set I was the only one on the dance floor. It was weird, but cd played like they were for a normal crowd, not just 1. They even invited me on stage to take pictures, but I chickened out of that opprotunity. They played only stuff from 'lines in my face'.

After they were done backstage mike came out to talk to me, he was super nice, and I bought the cd and a shirt from him. Then we took some pictures together. Next the whole band came out and they all signed my cd, got a photo, and talked a bit. Good stuff. I helped carry their merch back to the van and Mike gave me 3 copies of their ep for free, which was quite rad. Then a bit more talk and I headed off.
